Retail aggregation is the joining of two or more End-users within a contiguous area into a single purchasing unit shall be part of the Contestable Market. Qualified End-users must have 500kW or above aggregated group.

Aspects of Retail Aggregation
1. Customer Eligibility
A minimum of two (2) end-users with a combined monthly average peak demand of 500 kW or more over the past three (3) months.
There are no restrictions on the maximum number of end-users within a continuous area.
There are no specified requirements concerning the mix of end users.
It is the responsibility of the Retails Aggregator to determine eligiblity.
2. Contiguous Area
Includes subdivisions, villages, business districts, special economic zones, condominium buildings, commercial establishments, mixed-use development complexes, and other geographical areas designated by the ERC upon request a duly registered under prescribed authorities within the Distribution Utility's franchise area.
